Early in 2009, Jonathan Harber and Gary Harmeston decided that it would be a good idea to start keeping a record of all the stupid things said by our mutual friend Ian Engelbrecht (AKA Engel). Our original idea was to do it for a few years then try and get a book published full of them, but we've now come to realize that books are lame and the internet is the best place to post such stupidity, because the internet loves stupidity, right? So enjoy reading our blog, and feel free to comment on the posts if you'd like to know more about the story behind any of the quotes, but if you ask us to explain any of them we may struggle, we don't quite understand most of them ourselves, so we might not be able to help you with that. "You can put money in the bank?!"
Ian was shocked to learn you can deposit money into a bank account. I don't know how someone goes nearly 21 years without learning this.
